Hi, I'm Mallory!!!

I’ve always had a knack for combining my creativity with entrepreneurship, before I even knew what that meant. In elementary school I made bedazzled headbands with my sister and cousin and sold them in a local shop (I’m pretty sure my aunt paid the shop to “sell” our headbands), in middle school I made hair bows and sold them on the playground, in highschool I started a monogramming business and embroidered everything from t-shirts to backpacks to Converse, and in college my sister and I started a jewelry company selling beaded necklaces on Instagram. It feels inevitable that I landed here, all these years later, still making and selling my arts and crafts.

For the Earth and Her People

As an avid backpacker, beach lover, and overall nature + climate freak, sustainability and a commitment to doing business as ethically as possible will always be my number one priority. Climate change is the single biggest issue of our time, and I recognize the massive roles overconsumption and the fashion industry play in our warming planet. If you’re interested in reading about the Black Dog Bikinis commitment to sustainability and transparency, I break it allllll down here- I’d love it if you took a look so that you can understand the care that has gone into building this business the right way.

When you wear your Black Dog Bikini, know that it was made by hand with love, and my greatest hope is that it makes you feel comfortable, confident, and in the mood to PLAY!
